Stable household customer prices for electricity and gas

-

There was little change in the electricity and gas prices for household customers modelled by the Bundesnetzagentur for June. Dynamic electricity prices and electricity prices for industrial customers, meanwhile, were higher.

The electricity prices for household customers modelled by the Bundesnetzagentur were generally stable in the month of June. At 34.99 ct/kWh, the price for new customers was slightly above that of the previous month (34.66 ct/kWh), while the price for existing customers barely changed at 34.90 ct/kWh from 34.92 ct/kWh in May.

The dynamic electricity price, on the other hand, increased. It was 36.86 ct/kWh in June, up from 34.91 ct/kWh in May.

Prices for industrial customers were also higher in June. The industrial electricity price including all possible reductions was 10.73 ct/kWh (May: 10.25 ct/kWh), without reductions it was 16.26 ct/kWh (May: 15.78 ct/kWh).

Like the electricity prices, gas prices for household customers remained stable. The price for new customers was up slightly to 10.59 ct/kWh from 10.50 ct/kWh in May, whereas the price for existing customers was unchanged at 10.40 ct/kWh.
